ENGLISH / KOKI’S CORNER
I like clothes that feel comfortable and have one detail that makes them mine. A small K, a basketball outline or a blue motorbike drawing could become that detail. I would start on paper so I can change my mind without ruining a T-shirt.
My first step would be three quick sketches. One could be a small chest logo, another a bigger back design, and the third just lettering. Then I would pick the one that still looks clear when I see it from across the room.
For colours, I would try sky blue, navy and white. I would not need an expensive brand or a huge print. A simple drawing can be more interesting when it has enough empty space around it. I could also ask a friend which version is easiest to recognise.
If we put the design on fabric, I would choose suitable materials with an adult and follow their instructions. Any ironing or heat treatment would be the adult’s job. I could photograph the sketches and the finished result to show how the idea changed. Which symbol would you choose for your own design?
