ENGLISH / KOKI’S CORNER
I think a team works better when everybody gets a turn to have an idea. That is true in a building game and in basketball. If one person does all the talking, we can miss a clever plan from someone quieter.
Before we begin, I would suggest one small goal. In a game, it might be finishing a shared base. On the court, it could be passing to every teammate during a friendly round. Knowing the goal makes it easier to decide what to do next.
If something goes wrong, I would rather ask, ‘What could we try differently?’ than blame someone. We can change jobs, slow down or start a new round. Winning feels good, but a group that wants to play together again feels good too.
In online games, I would stick to parent-approved settings and people I know. If a chat stops being friendly, I can leave and tell an adult. Offline, I can check that everyone is included. My favourite team rule would be simple: help the next person have a good turn.
